Biography

Michelle has been practising family law since she was admitted as a solicitor in 1995.

She began her career in her home town of Griffith where she worked in a general legal practice and gained a broad knowledge of the law. Her initial legal experience included conveyancing, wills and estates, criminal law, apprehended violence proceedings, personal injury, worker’s compensation and general commercial matters as well as family law.

Michelle moved to Sydney in 1996 and has practised almost exclusively in family law having worked for specialist family law firms in both Parramatta and Sydney. She has appeared frequently in registries of the Local, Family and Federal Magistrate’s Courts.

Her extensive experience includes settlements and litigation arising from marriage and relationship breakdown, complex children’s issues, financial issues and property division.

Michelle is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law. Her warm, approachable personality is combined with a no-nonsense, practical attitude. She provides sound and sensible, cost-efficient advice.
