Mary Pollatos - Family Law Solicitor

Biography

Mary acts for clients in a range of family law matters including matters involving children and divorce. Prior to joining Armstrong Legal, she worked for a general practice firm for six years where she dealt with family law, wills, estates, powers of attorney and guardianship.

Before this she worked for the Australian Copyright Council and the Newcastle Law Review Journal.

Mary graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Law/ Bachelor of Arts (major studies in Psychology) in 2001. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Mary possesses a great depth of understanding for clients from a variety of backgrounds, and has a special interest in child development and the best interests of children.

Mary is furthering her knowledge and expertise in family law by undertaking a Masters degree in Applied Family Law. She is also currently training to be an independent children’s lawyer .

In her spare time Mary enjoys composing music, attending live performances, contemporary dance and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Mary speaks fluent Greek.
